"Thanks to the efforts of dozens of volunteers who attended the cleanup events on April 26 and 30, 2008, we were able to remove 5.89 TONS of trash and debris from the trail and adjacent woods. 

A second cleanup day on November 1, 2008, pushed the trash total to over 8 tons.

An additional Cleanup Day is scheduled for November 7, 2009, at 9:00 am Wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt, gloves, a and sturdy shoes or boots. For more information contact Bonnie Bittner
